Photosensitive is a non-profit collective of photographers across Canada that helps contribute to social justice.  Photosensitive created a national exhibit called "The Cancer Project" to bring to view cancer's toll on Canadians.  The photos displayed show people who have lived with cancer, survived cancer, or lost a loved one to cancer.  From Cathy's work are  photos of Loretta and Jenna Thurston, mother and daughter. Loretta is a breast cancer survivor, but more than that she is a phenomenal example of courage and strength to her daughter Jenna, her entire family and all the people surrounding  her.  Cathy's work is also now in "The Cancer Project" book available at bookstores across Canada.

A collection of Cathy's work from the coffee table book titled "The Grannies" hit the press again with the release of "Hell's Grannies" - a documentary film about the grandmothers in the book showcasing Cathy's work. Hell's Grannies debuted at Hot Doc's International Film Festival in Toronto, receiving top reviews
